Heiligenschein -effect : Heiligenschein -effect could be seen when you observe the falling shadow and its near points. This effect can be seen on the dry, or also on the wet ground, i.e. misty grass containing drops of water. A small area around observers shadow "looks" more bright than more far from the shadow.
